Brady and the Patriots have already all but likely locked up another playoff berth in the AFC. The Vikings are in a dog fight in the NFC, but have a leg up on a few other teams when it comes to nabbing an NFC wild card spot.

Cousins understands who (Brady) he is going up against, and knows he has to be at his best.

“I don’t even know where to begin with what you can learn from him.He won his first Super Bowl, I was in seventh grade. So, I’ve been watching him for a long time. Obviously, the ultimate competitor. This game matters to him so much and you see it in the way he conducts his business. … He’s always been great in crunch time and he’s a winner.

“I think he’s really set the bar for all of us who come after him, and really everybody who came before as well. They call him the ‘GOAT’ for a reason.”

The $84 million man was worth it last week when the Vikings beat Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. Cousins improved his record in primetime games to 5-12 overall. Although this one technically isn’t in a “primetime” slot, it will still be the subject of the national audience.

In a late development, Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) will be a game-time decision due to swelling. If he can’t go, Cousins will have a much more difficult time moving the football against the Patriots defense.

Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler (concussion) was the story this week as he went through protocol. Butler was cleared to play for Week 13.

Team leader on defense Brian Orakpo knows in order for the Titans to push for the postseason, they will need to take it one game a time.

“Absolutely. I’m not even looking at four of the next five. We need to look at winning all the rest. We have five games. We have to start being realistic about ourselves and stop all that BS answers when it comes to the scenarios. To give ourselves a chance, 10-6 looks pretty good to me, and we have to make sure that’s a reality and not just some talk. It starts with the Jets this week. It means absolutely nothing if we don’t get back to the basics and start with these Jets.”

The Jets don’t have the luxury of good news, unfortunately. Sam Darnold (foot) will once again miss another Sunday, meaning veteran Josh McCown will be once again called on to start.

A lot has happened in two weeks in Kansas City. First, the loss against the Los Angeles Rams and subsequent bye. Next, a video of Kareem Hunt assaulting a woman surfaced on TMZ, leading to the organization to cut the second-year running back on Friday.

The Chiefs will attempt to avoid the Hunt controversy when they take the field on Sunday. Improving this week starts with Mahomes taking better care of the footballafter crucial interceptions cost his team late in their loss to the Rams.

“You have to be secure with the ball. You can’t lose the ball, fumble the ball. I haven’t been strip-sacked a lot, but at the same time I am going to try and improve on just keeping two hands on the ball even when I do try to break the pocket.”

Oakland enters Sunday having been competitive in each of its past three games. Although it’s hard to hard to argue for trading Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper, but despite those trades, the Raiders haven’t been putrid in recent weeks.

Bears vs Giants

Bears vs Giants : The Chicago Bears defeated the Detroit Lions last week using backup quarterback Chase Daniel. The Bears will try to win again with Daniel when they face the New York Giants on Sunday (10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, FOX, DirecTV or try FuboTV (free trial).

The Bears travel to New York to take on the Giants on Sunday. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. ET.

Chicago (8–3) will look for its sixth straight win after beating the Vikings 23–16 on Thanksgiving. The Bears won without starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky who was injured in the team’s win over Minnesota the previous week. Chase Daniel started in his place, going 27–for–37 with 230 yards and two touchdowns. Daniel has played little since he entered the league in 2010.

The Giants (3–8) are coming off a 25–22 loss to the Eagles. Philadelphia’s Jake Elliott kicked a 43-yard field goal with 22 seconds remaining to lead the Eagles past the Giants. The Eagles were trailing 12–0 early and 19–14 in the fourth quarter.

Bills vs Dolphins

Bills vs Dolphins : For the first of two times this season, the Miami Dolphins will go against the Buffalo Bills when the two teams meet at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The Dolphins are second in the AFC East entering Week 13 with a 5–6 record. They’ve lost four of their last five games, including three consecutive on the road. Miami’s current two-game losing is the third its had this season. The other two losing streaks were halted by one-score home victories. Sunday will be quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s second start since returning from an injury to his throwing shoulder. In last week’s 27–24 loss to the Colts, Tannehill went 17-for-25 for 204 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bills are third in the division at 4–7 and are currently in the midst of a two-game winning stretch. After dropping four straight contests, Buffalo got a blowout win over the Jets on the road and then a three-point home victory against the Jaguars. Like the Dolphins, the Bills are sending quarterback Josh Allen onto the field for just the second time since going down with an injury. Allen was sidelined with an injury to his right elbow, and in his return following a four-game absence, he went 8-for-19 for 160 yards and one score while rushing for 99 yards and another touchdown.

Believe it or not, the Buffalo Bills could win three straight games with a victory Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. The Bills are riding a season-high two-game winning streak after defeating the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Dolphins have not been so lucky lately as they have sputtered out of control and enter Sunday’s AFC East matchup on a two-game skid. The Dolphins only are one game out of the second Wild Card slot in the AFC and a loss here would be catastrophic.

Texans vs Browns

Texans vs Browns : The Houston Texans welcome the Cleveland Browns to NRG Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The Texans are the owners of the NFL’s second longest active winning streak at eight games. Houston turned around from a 0-3 start to climb into a tie for second in the AFC with the Patriots entering Week 13. Just one game behind the Chiefs for home-field advantage in the postseason, the Texans close out their season with four of the their last five games coming against teams currently below .500.

The Browns are on a two-game winning streak that’s moved them to 4-6-1 and 2-1 since firing former head coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley. Over the past two contests, rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield has gone a combined 36-for-46 for 474 passing yards and seven touchdowns. Last week’s win in Cincinnati was the team’s first road win since an overtime victory in Baltimore in Week 5 of 2015.

Beating the teams you’re supposed to beat is important. It’s something the Browns haven’t done, even before the 1-31 run in 2016 and 2017.

So we shouldn’t just shrug off this two-game winning streak against two of the worst defenses the NFL has to offer. The Browns did what you’re supposed to do against those teams — they imposed their will offensively and won two games in a row by multiple scores.

Improvement and competence were the keywords coming into this season and, over the last two weeks, we can check both of those boxes.

This game against the Texans comes at the exact right time. Yes, the Texans have won eight games in a row and are leading the AFC South, but that’s why Browns fans should be excited about this game. This is an opportunity for the Browns to show how far they really have come.

The last two wins have been fun. A win in Houston that stops the Texans’ winning streak would serve notice that this team is on its way. (It might even be fair to start throwing around that word, playoffs, but let’s not go there just yet.)

I’ve probably used the word opportunity in more of these preview posts than not. That’s what this season is about — opportunities for improvement. Opportunities to show the NFL world that this team is on the up and they will be a factor in 2019.

This is an opportunity to prove people like me wrong — because I still need to see a little more.

Aaron Rodgers seemed to suggest the Green Bay Packers need to run the table in their final five games to have a chance to earn a playoff. Rodgers might be overly optimistic, but the Packers potential run needs to start with a win against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET on FOX, DirecTV or try FuboTV (free trial).

You can also watch the live stream of the game on foxsportsgo.comverizonwireless.  playstation vue, AppleTV, or SlingTV.

The Packers (4-6-1) have lost two consecutive games and are in danger of missing the playoffs for the just the second season in which Rodgers have been on the field for the majority of games. The Packers struggles have also placed coach Mike McCarthy squarely on the hot seat, with the growing criticism that he has largely wasted Rodgers talents.

The Cardinals (2-9) allowed 45 points during their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12 and have lost three straight. There are rumors that first-year coach Steve Wilks could be one-and-done, particularly because Wilks is a defensive-oriented coach and the Cardinals defense has regressed compared to 2017.

Broncos vs Bengals

Broncos vs Bengals : Both the Broncos and Bengals look to keep their playoff hopes alive on Sunday when the two teams go head-to-head for a key matchup that could later end up deciding who earns the second AFC Wild Card berth.

The Broncos (5–6) are coming off of a 24–17 upset win over Pittsburgh last week. Case Keenum threw for 197 yards and two scores while running back Phillip Lindsay added 110 yards and a touchdown on the ground on 14 carries. The win was Denver’s second straight after the team similarly escaped with a 23–22 upset victory over Los Angeles in Week 11.

The Bengals, meanwhile, have dropped three-straight games to 5–6 and are without starting quarterback Andy Dalton for a remainder of the season. Cincinnati’s last outing was a 35–20 lopsided division loss to Cleveland in which the defense allowed Baker Mayfield to throw for 258 yards and four touchdowns.

In the two team’s last meeting, the Bengals outlasted the Broncos 20–17 on Nov. 19, 2017.

A once promising season for the Cincinnati Bengals quickly has turned into a season of sadness and despair. The Bengals (5-6) started the season off 4-1 before falling off a cliff and going 1-5 over the last six weeks including a season-high three-game losing streak entering Week 13. The Denver Broncos (5-6) have not had the season they were expecting, but may have figured it out recently as they enter Sunday’s matchup on a two-game winning streak after defeating the playoff-bound Los Angeles Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers. This game may not catch your eye initially, but could have major fantasy football implications before playoffs as players such as Emmanuel Sanders and Joe Mixon are due for a high volume of touches.

Ravens vs Falcons

Ravens vs Falcons : Baltimore Ravens rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson is 2-0 in his first two career starts. Baltimore seems to have found new life with rookie Lamar Jackson starting at quarterback. Under Jackson, the Ravens have won their last two games, improving to a 6–5 record. Jackson showed off his speed last week, rushing for 71 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore’s 34–17 win over Oakland. The Ravens need to continue winning to secure a playoff spot, especially with tough upcoming AFC games against the Chiefs and Chargers.

The 4–7 Falcons have lost three straight games and are desparately looking for a win to finish the season on a high note. Atlanta was eliminated from contention in the NFC South last week after a 31–17 loss to the red hot Saints.

Set to make their Pumas debuts are 2018 Pumitas Santiago Grondona, Mayco Vivas, and Santiago Carreras. They all made the tour ahead of Jaguares’ players.

Saturday’s match is to be the third on record between the Barbarians and Argentina. The two prior matches were in 1990 and 2015. The Barbarians won the inaugural fixture 34-22 in Cardiff while Los Pumas were 49-31 winners following RWC 2015.
